Spooky2 Scalar creates the scalar field using a pure sine wave. It does not use square waves or any other waveform.
Some people are confusing the scalar waveform with the modulation input. The modulation is like a switch, which turns the scalar field on and off very quickly. This is why the modulation input must be a square wave.
