If you use scalar and you were lying in a metal bed, would this affect the scalar field? Making it less strong?

The metal bed would have a slight effect, but the scalar field can travel through metal and not be greatly affected. However, the link cable should be kept away from the metal, as regular EMF flows through this cable.
