How do you prove a scalar field exists and know that it is scalar as opposed to EM field or other?

Scalar field passes through Faraday cage while EMF filed does not.
You can put those two boxes in different rooms, and the receiver light will still be on.

Older Previously it was recommended that as the dial reached the point where the tester coil lights were barely lit, that was not the final attunement. We were told to turn the dial clockwise 2 clicks. That would be the true attunement point. So which is the correct instruction?
